The main stream of business is the manufacture and repair of barrels and screws for injection moulders and extruders for the plastics and rubber industries and the repair of machinery used in these industries.

We undertake repairs to all types of equipment within our capacity. We have repaired and reconditioned calendar rolls, flock cutting machines, broken screws, broken barrels, damaged and worn gearboxes, sheet dies, film blowing dies, toggle systems, hydraulic cylinders, extruders, pumps, granulators, etc, to name but a few. We would be happy to hear about your requirements and needs. All work is done in-house apart from heat treatment, chrome plating etc, which we sub-contract to specialists.

Barrels
We service, repair, recondition, custom-make and import all types of barrels.
In the process of extrusion, injection moulding, blow moulding etc, screws are used to process the raw material into a usable form to make the final product required. However, the performance of the screw is dependant on the condition of the BARREL, and we manufacture, repair and recondition most types of barrels, single and twin. All work is done in-house except heat treatment which we subcontract to our specialist engineering partners. We have the capacity to handle barrels up to 6m in length.
We come to your premises and do a full assessment of the condition of your barrel and provide you with a report detailing the wear along the entire length. We do not normally charge our local customers for this service, and consider it a necessary part of condition monitoring for plant.

Screws
We only do real welding not hard-plating on our screws.
Screws are the heart of any extruder or injection moulder. We manufacture, repair and recondition all types of screws for processing a wide variety of material from virgin PE to dry sawdust. We are able to manufacture and repair piston, check-ring and tip assemblies for injection moulders. We have the capacity to handle screws up to 6m in length.

Supply of Complete Lines
Recycling line, film blowing machine, pipe or profile extrusion lines can me manufactured according to your needs. We supply tape manufacturing lines, bag making machines, bag weaving machines and a host of other plastic extrusion-related plant.
But the difference is the way in which we support the machines we supply. With our longstanding track record, we are well placed to assist you in maintaining your production line to keep you running reliably for longer and at lower cost.


Granulators
Design, production and maintenance of all types of granulators.
We manufacture and repair granulators of all types and sizes. We manufacture the Durl HC26/15 and the Durl GP 12/9 models which are available in models from 15Kw to 55Kw. We repair granulators from Moditech, Black Friars, Alpine, Untha, Hi-Tech and Queens.




Shredders
Maintenance and reconditioning of all types of shredders. We supply and repair shredders of all types and sizes from manufacturers like Untha, Hi-Tech and Satrind. We recondition shredder blades at a fraction of the cost of new ones.





Nibblers:
Custom-made and reconditioned nibblers/single rotor shredders.
We make and repair nibblers to reduce lumps to small pieces or shavings, depending on requirements.




Extruders:
From big to small, we handle them all!
We build extruders from those with a 15mm diameter screw for use in the medical field up to 180mm diameter for use in the field of recycling, film blowing, pipe and profile extrusion, sheet extrusion etc. We also recondition and re-build extruders as well as their barrels and screws, and the downstream equipment.




Dies and all die-related equipment.
We make and recondition dies for different purposes - film blowing, sheeting, profiles etc, within limits.
